There are two advocacy styles I most admire:
(1) the phenomenal performance where grand themes are illuminated and small legal nuance becomes seemingly inferior; and
(2) a careful and meticulous set of submissions, where an opponents’ counter arguments are pre-empted and shut down before they are made.

I was able to see Theo Huckle KC in action in the run up to, and during, the trial of a claim brought by my brother-in-law against the Royal Opera House, including in consultation and in court. My brother-in-law suffered serious injury to his hearing during rehearsals for Wagner's Ring Cyle which ended his professional career as a viola player.
